Sala Bistro
We are definitely going back to Salad Bistro in Greenbelt 3. Bee and I had lunch there a few days ago and we enjoyed the food and the ambiance immensely. The food was cooked to perfection, the ingredients fresh, and the place snazzy. The waiters were attentive without hovering. The music volume was just so and the dining clatter was hushed and discreet. I likey!

Here’s what we ordered (and liked):
homemade country pate with cornichons for bee

side salad for me

slow braised lamb shank with parmesan mashed potatoes for bee

slow roast beef brisket with cauliflower cheese for me (i usually do not like eating red meat during lunch and dinner but i gave this one a go and did not regret it. the beef brisket was cooked so simply that the flavor really came through. sometimes, the best meals are the ones not smothered in sauce).

Expect to pay roughly P1,000 per head with drink. I’d love to try sister resto Sala (without the ‘Bistro’) in Locsin Bldg. in Makati. It’s the pricier, more upscale one. Anyone want to treat me? =)

oh i would definitely say this is a “date” restaurant. the food is good, the service superb and the interiors are classy. expect to shell out P800 to P1K per head, depending on whether you order extras (drinks, appeitzers, desserts) or not.
